OEM Mitsubishi SPIII ATF Fluid

It's not very commonly known that the Evo 4-6 requires the AYC clutch bath fluid to be changed every 3-5k miles. Failure to change this fluid will result in a donkey-like noise during tight, low-speed corners, eventually damaging the AYC system and rear differential.

Mitsubishi's SPIII ATF Fluid is the only fluid you should use for the AYC system in your Evo 4-6. Using other, non SPIII compliant ATF fluids can damage the components and result in you needing a costly AYC pump and differential rebuild. A full AYC clutch bath fluid change requires 0.6L of fluid (one bottle).

NOTE: Only the GSR trim of the Evo 4-6 include the AYC system. The RS model has a normal LSD in the rear and does not require the use of this fluid.
